So April and May have been hetic for me so I thought I'd take a few moments to tell you whats been happening at SockJems HQ over the last few weeks and what will be happening in the not so distant future!

Firstly I had an amazing time at Griffish Isles this weekend just gone, everyone was lovely and there was a great atmosphere. This was the last of 4 conventions in 5 weeks so you can understand that I am a little bit drained after all that! Susan my sewing machine has also been working hard for me to prepare for these events so she is currently at Direct Sewing Machines being serviced and pampered and she will be back with me shortly, this means no sewing for me for a few days so I am taking the opportunity to go through my fabrics and stock and thin the herd a little.

The most important things I have to tell you are these:

As of the 1st June my prices will rise on some of my bags and purses, this is due to increasing prices from my suppliers and something that can't be avoided. I do try and keep my prices as low as they possibly can and think my items are very good value for money.

Also I am no longer stocking Cath Kidston fabrics for you guys to place custom orders in, I have way too many fabrics ad not enough space and after much soul searching I have decided that the quirky and fandom items are what I want to continue to make and where my hear is so I am slowly listing all of my fabrics onto ebay (here's the link to my items on there if you are interested in buying any, there are lots more to be added too) and this will give me the funds and space to expand my fandom fabrics.

In the next few days I am hoping to have a bit of flash sale and reduce some items of stock, these will be offered first on our facebook group for our hardcore fans SockJems Creations Behind The Awesomeness!!

From the first week of June I shall be moving to a new workspace and this means during the move orders may take a little longer to be processed but once we are settle in (I'm hoping it will take a week, 2 at the most) then normal service will be resumed.

I have lots planned for SockJems, a new line of bags, new fabrics and trading at more events than ever before! to stay up to date with all this and so you don't miss out on any offers or deals just sign up to our newsletter at the bottom of the screen!
